Nuclear Reaction Analysis
Nuclear Reaction Analysis (NRA) uses a high-energy (MeV) ion beam to bombard a sample surface. The result is elemental concentration versus depth in bulk materials and thin solid films. Nuclear reaction analysis is used primarily for detecting lighter elements in materials. These measurements are non-destructive, and standard-less.
